The new Wizarding World of Harry Potter park has a drink that’s been highly anticipated by Harry Potter fans, Butterbeer! Yes, JK Rowling approved a butterbeer recipe for use at the new Harry Potter theme park.
It’s said the butterbeer tastes like shortbread cookies and butterscotch and has a two-part pouring method to make the non-alcoholic drink stay frothy. You can order it cold or frozen — I got mine cold. While the “shortbread cookies and butterscotch” description may be more flowery, I thought it tasted like good, old-fashioned cream soda with a frothy head.
You can get it in a commemorative cup for a price of $9.95 or an individual glass for $3.95. You also get discounted refills with the commemorative glass. I got the commemorative glass, clearly. 🙂
What are your thoughts on the butterbeer? Living up to your expectations?
