Did you know that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando sells its own unique water?
That’s right, they do. It is called Gilly Water. For non-Harry Potter fans, Gilly Water comes straight from the books and films. You can find Gilly Water throughout the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade.
What is Gilly Water?
Gilly Water is said to be a combination of Gillyweed and regular water.
At the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Gilly Water comes in a specially shaped long neck bottle with a stylish Gilly Water label. The cost is $4.00 per bottle, which is a little expensive for water. However, it is still pretty cool to be able to purchase Gilly Water, right out of the Harry Potter books and movies.
Where Can I Find Gilly Water?
Gilly Water can be found at both the Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley sections of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. You can find it at the fruit kiosks, Three Broomsticks, Leaky Couldron, and more. Since Florida is hot, Universal Orlando does sell the Gilly Water everywhere. They want to keep you hydrated.

Turn Your Gilly Water into an Elixir
One of our favorite uses of Gilly Water is creating an elixir. At Diagon Alley, stop by Eternelle’s Elixir of Refreshment. You can add a flavored potion to your Gilly Water to turn it into a colorful and tasty elixir. Each potion costs $3.99. You can pick your favorite potion. You can pour a little bit in your water or the whole thing. We love taking the elixir bottle home. The elixirs do come in a nice souvenir keepsake vial.
Adding an elixir does make the Gilly Water a bit expensive, but still relatively cheap when compared to other souvenirs at Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Our kids love creating elixirs during our days at Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
