A couple weeks ago, we went and played in the rain at Universal Studios Orlando while on a spring break Universal Orlando vacation. On the day we were there, Universal Express passes were $75 per person!! That would be over $300 for our family of four, including tax!! Instead, we decided to visit the parks on a very rainy day and avoid the lines without the outlay of cash. That’s right, on rainy days, the Orlando area theme parks generally clear out. This is your opportunity to brave the elements (just a little bit) and get on all the rides while everyone else is hiding out.
On what should have been one of the busiest days of our Universal Orlando vacation, we got on all the rides we wanted to ride (including Rip, Ride, Rockit Roller Coaster…twice!), arrived after 10AM and left right after dinner. Not bad!
So, on your next Universal Orlando vacation, consider visiting on those not so pleasant weather days to avoid some of the crowds. You won’t regret it!
