Harry Potter book and movie fans will recognize the Owl Post as the Hogsmeade version of a post office. At the Universal Orlando version of Hogsmeade, you’ll find a variation of the special post office. The Owl Post is actually a combination postal and wand shop at Harry Potter Theme Park. This is where Guests are escorted after the wand show next door at Ollivanders.
At the Owl Post at Harry Potter Park, Guests can buy 3 types of wands:
- Harry Potter “Character” wands which are similar to what is seen in the movies
- Ollivanders wands which are used for the show next door
- Special wands with LED tips which cost about $10 more than the others and also require AA batteries
The Owl Post also sells postage and writing supplies including official USPS stamps featuring the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Don’t forget to have your postcards stamped with the Owl Post postage stamp too!
Similar to the rest of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, check out the Owl Post both inside and out. When you’re inside, look up and check out the animatronic owls! When you’re outside, look up and see more owls above and you’ll also find a nice shady place to cool off on a hot day!
