One of my favorite attractions at the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter park stars an old wizard helping you select your own personal wand at the Ollivanders Wand Shop!
You have to wait in line for a bit, but you can get a Butterbeer and the next thing you know, you’ll be at the front of the line, entering the small, dark shop.
Wands galore decorate the walls of the shop and the wizard ponders over a wand before putting it away and helping the “customers.” The selected customer will try out a few wands and spells before finding just the right wand.
The wands cost $28.95 + tax and you don’t have to take the one “selected” for you, if you’re the lucky customer. Also, you don’t have to watch the show to buy a wand, you just enter through the Owl Post to peruse the available wands and by the way, I confirmed that they do not have the one we’re giving away!
