It is always clear for those of us who have studied wand law that the wand chooses the wizard, although it is not always clear why.

As you make your way into the small dusty room known as Ollivander Wand Shophe will choose a witch or wizard out of the crowd to receive their first wand.
You will notice countless wand boxes stacked all the way to the ceiling.
Each wand carries a core of a powerful magical substance of either unicorn hair, dragon heart string or phoenix tail feather.
Please note that no two Ollivander wands are the same, just as though no two unicorns, dragons or phoenixes are the same.
As the chosen witch or wizard makes their way to the front of the room they will be asked to test several spells on different wands to find the perfect fit for that particular individual. Keep in mind that the wand will learn from their wizard just as the wizard will learn from their wand. As a wand chooses its wizard a certain magic fills the room and there is no question that the wizard had found it’s perfect match.
I will leave you with this one last bit of advice, never leave your wand in your back pocket … elementary wand safety!
