It’s been mentioned a couple times that we’re going to give away another Harry Potter park wand and today’s the day that the new contest starts!
Unlike the limited edition wand we gave out in June, this one is an exclusive Wizarding World of Harry Potter park wand. You can only get this one in the park…and even that’s becoming more difficult with Universal selling out of the wands, broomsticks, and owls on a regular basis. These are also the wands used in the Ollivander’s Wand Shop shows that are “selected” for customers.
The wand is called “Birch 1,” indicating that it’s “made” of birch and the number 1 design. It’s pretty much how they’ve designated these non-character wands that they use for the show. Of course, the sales-wizard adds that the wand includes a phoenix tail feather core, also.
We’ll be giving you a month to win the Ollivander’s wand with several ways to enter and win! We’ll announce the winner on or around Sept. 1, but you have until 11:59PM on Aug. 31 to enter. Again, we’ll be giving away the wand and the collector’s edition box it comes in!
