Yes, we have a confirmation of a soft opening for the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter park....but we'll get to that, later.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter park was set to have a soft opening this past weekend...according to rumors, anyway. Well, as with many of these rumors, it turned out to be false.
If you read this blog, you're already aware of at least one Harry Potter park soft opening that coincides with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter vacation package. Starting on May 28th, Universal Orlando visitors that booked the special Harry Potter park vacation package (sold out for some time, now), you will get to see "parts" of the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter park. Universal's still very quiet on what you will get to see.
We have confirmed that there will be at least one other soft opening of the new Harry Potter park. We cannot say when this soft opening will occur, who will be invited, or any other details, but we can confirm that there will be at least one soft opening before the Wizarding World of Harry Potter opening date of June 18th.
