In record time, the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride has reached a huge milestone. 1 million riders!! In just around 2 months, Universal Orlando has put 1 million riders through the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park.
Universal released a new video to commemorate the milestone that I've added, below. The video doesn't mention the official "record time," but it was released right around two months after the official opening. Assuming that was the date, 1 million riders divided by 60 days comes out to nearly 17,000 riders per day! Due to the soft openings prior to the grand opening, the number's probably a bit lower than that per day, but still an amazing feat. Especially considering that the ride breaks down quite regularly.
