Universal's Superstar Parade is another one of the brand new events opening at the Universal Orlando Resort in 2012. Opening to Universal Studios Guests on May 8, Universal's Superstar Parade is sure to have something for every member of the family to enjoy! See extremely creative, colorful, larger-than-life,  and technologically advanced floats move through the streets of Universal Studios.  Hundreds of talented performers will also bring some of your favorite Universal characters and songs to life!

Favorite characters in the Universal Studios parade include:

• Dora, Diego, Boots and more from Dora the Explorer and Go, Diego, Go!
• SpongeBob SquarePants and his Pineapple under the sea
• The minions from Universal's blockbuster animated movie, Despicable Me 
• E.B. from the hit comedy, Hop

Personally, I can't wait to see the characters from Dora the Explorer on their float!  My favorites!!!

The action doesn't just stop with Universal's Superstar Parade! Throughout the day at Universal Studios, you can visit, sing, and dance with the Superstar Parade characters during meet/greet sessions and special performances held at select locations at the park.  Superstar Parade times vary on a daily basis but, the event is typically run towards the end of the day.  Enjoy the parade and then head over to the lagoon area to watch Universal's Cinematic Spectacular to really cap off your day of movie magic!  You can also add on a brand themed dining experience to view Universal's Superstar Parade from a special VIP viewing area.  How awesome is that?

Finally, if you only have 1 day to spend at the Universal Orlando Resort, make sure you purchase a Park-to-Park ticket so that you can visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and then head over to Universal Studios at the end of the day to view the Superstar Parade!
